Budget readiness check

An early nonprofit application budget check for missing assumptions, category risks and narrative gaps before detailed drafting.

A useful pause before narrative drafting

The readiness check looks for structural problems while there is still time to resolve them: activities with no cost, costs with no evident activity, uncertain headcounts, unsupported inflation, unclear staff percentages and categories that may conflict with the call.

You receive a concise memo organised as resolve now, confirm internally and explain in the justification. A 25-minute handover call is included. Detailed copy-editing, formula repair and a second review of revisions are not part of this scope.

Provide the call guidance, draft budget and a one- to three-page programme outline. The check normally covers one budget in one currency with up to 60 populated lines.
