Terms of use and engagement

Terms governing Sourcegridpath website use and nonprofit grant application budget justification review engagements in South Africa.

Effective 15 August 2026

Acceptance and scope

By using this website you accept these terms. Website information is general and does not create a professional engagement. Review services begin only when Sourcegridpath and the client accept a written scope, fee, timetable and any engagement-specific conditions.

Nature of review

Our work comments on clarity, consistency, assumptions and relevant funder guidance based on documents supplied. It is not a statutory audit, legal or tax advice, certification of allowability, or assurance that funding will be awarded. Clients remain responsible for figures, representations, approvals and final submission.

Client responsibilities

You must provide accurate, lawfully shared documents, disclose the governing funding call and meet agreed response dates. Do not send unnecessary beneficiary personal data. You warrant that you have authority to commission the work and permit us to review supplied material.

Fees, cancellation and intellectual property

Fees and payment dates appear in the accepted scope. Cancellation and refund conditions are described in our refund policy. You retain rights in your application materials. Sourcegridpath retains rights in its review formats, original guidance and methods; once paid, you may use delivered comments internally for the commissioned application.

Liability

To the extent permitted by South African law, Sourcegridpath is not liable for funding decisions, missed deadlines outside our control, or indirect and consequential loss. Our aggregate liability arising from an engagement is limited to fees paid for that engagement, except where a limitation is prohibited by law.

Acceptable website use

You may not interfere with site operation, attempt unauthorised access, submit unlawful content or reproduce substantial website content without permission. External image sources and linked sites are governed by their own terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. The parties will first try in good faith to resolve a dispute directly before approaching a court with jurisdiction in South Africa.
